Every client deserves prompt and thorough attention to their legal matter. Unfortunately, the legal process can be frustratingly slow, particularly for those who are not accustomed to the system.  Our firm does our utmost to keep you informed and to keep your case on track.  While we can't single-handedly change the legal system, we CAN do our best to help you understand the progress of your case, so you can rest assured that your matter is being handled efficiently and competently.

Expertise

Choosing the right lawyer for your case is hard.  As a lay person, you may not always know what you should be looking for. Those of us within the legal system know that there are three basic things you should be looking at when evaluating an Attorney:

1. Experience:  How many years has the Attorney been practicing?  Do they have experience in your field of law?  Do they know the other attorneys and Judges in your Jurisdiction (County)?  A good Attorney with only a year or two of practice experience, but who knows the way your County Courthouse runs, and how the Judges approach cases, is often a better bet than a high-priced, out-of-town city Attorney.

2. Integrity:  Does your Attorney have an ARDC ethics discipline record?  Will they try to problem-solve your case to obtain the best outcome for you?  Or will they just litigate to increases their fees and billing?

3.  Education:  Where did the Attorney go to Law School, and more importantly, how well did they do?  (Look for things like "Summa or Magna Cum Laude", "Law Review" or a specific class ranking.)

The Attorneys at Berger Law Firm, LLC, have the education, experience and integrity to guide your case to it's best possible outcome.  Just see our Attorney bios!
